Overview

Buffet 101 Robinsons Magnolia offers a diverse dining experience in Quezon City, conveniently located on the second level of Robinsons Magnolia. This buffet restaurant caters to a broad audience, from families celebrating special occasions to casual diners seeking variety in one place.

The restaurant’s main appeal lies in its seafood buffet and Japanese-inspired selections, including fresh Tuna and Salmon sashimi, assorted sushi, and tempura freshly cooked and served with traditional tempura sauce. Fried dishes shine here, with customer favorites like ebi tempura and pork asado standing out for their crisp texture and well-balanced flavors. The availability of assorted salads and the Fryit Salad provides a fresh counterbalance to the hearty main dishes.

Ice cream, though limited mostly to chocolate flavor, rounds out the meal nicely alongside a selection of assorted cakes. The beverage offerings include alcohol juices, which add a relaxed, casual vibe to the dining atmosphere. However, some guests have noted slow refills and occasional crowding, especially during peak hours, which can make the space feel cramped and warm.

While many appreciate the respectful and attentive service, others have observed inconsistencies in food quality, particularly in the Japanese section and certain meat dishes. Saltiness and blandness appear sporadic, so sampling smaller portions before committing to a plate is a wise approach. The seafood options like pompano are popular but may not be replenished promptly.

Overall, Buffet 101 Robinsons Magnolia stands as a go-to spot for those looking to enjoy a wide range of dishes in a lively setting, with particular strength in seafood and fried offerings. Arriving early can enhance the experience, helping diners avoid crowds and enjoy the full spread at a comfortable pace.

It been years since we've dine here, and lots of changes. Attended a birthday party of my friend child. Food choices in the past are more delectable and more choices. Today they dont have chili sauce for dimsum, they also dont have fresh chili and no ice till 1230nn maybe. Food refill is also slow, ice cream choices is limited only on chocolate flavor. Food area is too crowded. And place is so hot.

Some food were okay and some were salty for our taste. Two thumbs up with the frequent refill of their tempura. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner in Buffet 101.

Lots of food options. There were just some dishes that for me tasted bland. Suggests to try getting small portions first then just go back and get the ones you liked. Must Tries: Ebi tempura, siomai, pork asado, kakanin, penne pasta. The staff were very respectful and attentive to my concerns. Place could go crowded so better go there early.

Pretty much a mid with good and bad elements present. They are very good at fried dishes. Practically all dishes that involve frying are excellent. Examples of bad dishes are the Japanese section and the sliced beef and roast pork. Everything else is just OK.

Good place, excellent service but slow refills. It will die down after 8pm. Was waiting fir the pompano to be refilled but no such luck, they serve beer and sangria. But the food here is tastier than some buffets I tried
